Send us a note about what you have built. A CV is fine; a good story counts for more.

About the role

At Taily we build data infrastructure for multibrand retailers in fashion, footwear and sport. We take supplier data in any format and turn it into something our customers' POS and webshop understand. As a graduating student you will not work on a side project next to the real codebase, but in production: on functionality that actually runs at customers, with a mentor looking over your shoulder daily.

What you will do

  • Help build our Rails application, from data processing through to the screens the retailer works in
  • Work out a graduation subject that genuinely matters, for instance around matching and normalising supplier data
  • Back your work with tests and be able to explain it: here you only ship what you fully understand and can demonstrate
  • Take part in code reviews, small focused commits and the daily practice of a small engineering team

Technical stack

  • Ruby on Rails, Hotwire and Stimulus
  • Tailwind CSS
  • PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq
  • React Native
  • Python
  • Git and GitHub
  • Experience with this exact stack is not required; an interest in programming and wanting to really understand things counts for more

What we offer

A real place in a small team: no coffee runs, you build with us.

  • Intensive guidance from an experienced engineer
  • A modern, well-kept codebase you will learn a lot from
  • A modern office in the centre of Den Bosch
  • An internship allowance, laptop and tools sorted
  • A chance to continue after graduating on a good match
